HBA are currently developing detailed designs to refurbish 2no. Grade II Listed mixed-use office buildings either side of Sicilian Avenue on the Holborn Links Estate.
The stone facades of these buildings and detailed wooden shopfronts are very ornate and exude the character you would expect from London’s first purpose-built pedestrian street.
However, the interiors of these grand buildings lack this character and HBA aim to refresh and revitalise the buildings to provide Grade ‘A’ office space along with a new ‘clubhouse’ facility for the whole estate.
The first phase of the scheme totals just under 50,000sqft of refurbished office space, but also involves adding ‘end-of-trip’ facilities and flexible, wellbeing spaces that can be used by all the tenants of the estate
Cores have been remodelled and new MEP integrated into the complex structure to maximise efficiency. The new reconfigured reception will offer a multi-purpose, flexible space that can be used for events and presentation, as well as providing touchdown and informal meeting spaces.
