HBA have recently completed the refurbishment of the main inn building at the Olde Bell Hotel in Hurley.

The site is Grade II Listed and is reputed to be the second oldest hotel in the world, having been in continuous use since the 12th Century when it served the local Abbey. 

HBA have upgraded the ground floor, including the bar area, creating feature, illuminated panels highlighting areas of historic plaster to the walls.

 

The restaurant has also been upgraded with a new ramp seamlessly incorporated into the entrance and a new accessible WC incorporated to make the hotel more accessible.

 

The hotel reception linking 2no. of the buildings has been given a dramatic new rooflight, emphasizing views of the large mature trees in the garden 

The rear garden terrace has also been reconfigured with new 'summer' wcs added into a derelict, old store area to the rear of the building.

 

The 11no. bedrooms have also been upgraded along with the ensuites with materials aimed to enhance the inherent character of the oak-framed building. Areas of the building that had been have been  restored with areas of new oak frame, lime render and sheep's wool insulation.
