33 St. James's Square gets approval

Hale Brown Architects with DP9 have gained S73 consent for the refurbishment and new extension works to 33 St. James's Square. The consent involved changes to a 2020 implemented planning consent by ORMS, to bring the scheme in line with recent technical and legislative changes.
The project involves the demolition and reconstruction of a 1980s rear extension alongside the refurbishment of a Grade II* listed building to deliver high-quality office accommodation. The development focuses on delivering a modern, flexible workspace while retaining and enhancing significant historic features.
The building will incorporate improved amenities including new cycle storage, roof terraces at multiple levels, and enhanced accessibility through rationalised floorplates.
