Matt Hale designed this competition-winning school project, while at Buckley Gray Yeoman.



The new building replaces an old residential building on the site, and provides flexible, open plan space for much-needed IT and events for the School.

 

The external skin of the building is clad in handmade Petersen bricks with large areas of glazing, providing framed views.

 

The external spaces and roof terrace give the pupils space to interact on a tight site, with spectacular views over the sports field and Epping Forest beyond.
